About The Artist
Since 1996, Tremain Smith’s art work has been widely featured in over 70 solo and group exhibitions across the US. Her mixed media work resides in many private, public and corporate collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lancaster Museum of Art, Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and the Visa Corporation. In addition to her many shows, grants, publications and residencies, Tremain is also an instructor of the arts near her home in Philadelphia.

“I seek to portray what ordinarily might be invisible or overlooked. My paintings are mappings of the unseen,doors, walls and passageways representing internal states of being.” -Tremain Smith
